As a Lead Teacher, you will create a classroom environment that supports each child’s full potential. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and evaluating classroom activities, leading instruction, and fostering strong partnerships with families. The ideal candidate brings experience of working with young children, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Hourly rate is based on Education, Certifications and Experience.
Duties
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment with strong classroom management practices
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities that support each child’s growth and development
- Observe children daily to assess skills, interests, and needs, and use insights to guide individualized instruction
- Implement the curriculum with fidelity and intentionality
- Maintain strong, professional communication with families and build positive relationships
- Collaborate with Teacher Aides to develop and execute weekly lesson plans and classroom activities
- Staying current with best practices and advancements in Early Childhood Education
- Support the Center Director with onboarding and training of new staff and substitutes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 90-hour Preschool Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Preschool classroom (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
