We are seeking a visionary Lead Teacher to head our new Pre-K Expansion classrooms. You will lead high-quality, play-based instruction for our innovative 3-year-old program. This role is perfect for an educator who values autonomy, nature-based learning, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement STEAM based curriculum with high fidelity.
- Utilize Scienece of Reading phonics program and TSG GOLD to track and drive student outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive environment for students with diverse needs, including ELL and IEP learners.
- Lead outdoor-based discovery lessons using our new nature exploration kits.
Requirements (Blueprint 2026 Mandates):
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Certification: Must hold (or be eligible for) Maryland State Residency or Professional Certification in ECE.
- Exemption: Candidates with 10+ years of documented ECE experience may qualify via the MSDE experience pathway.
- Commitment: Passion for the Chestertown community and equitable early access.
