Summary
Kiddie Academy of Urbana has exciting opportunities for energetic, optimistic and inspiring educators to join us as Infant and Toddler Lead Teachers. As an Early Preschool Educator at Kiddie Academy, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children. Located in a supportive environment, you will implement our Life Essentials curriculum to inspire a lifelong love of learning while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Life Essentials curriculum.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities and progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting.
- First aid certification is required; CPR certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
