About
My ECE journey began as a 16-year-old afterschool assistant teacher in NY. The decades in the field have afforded me the opportunity to teach, lead, and most importantly… learn. The field has driven my leadership style and dedication to being a life-long learner, resulting in the pursuit of a doctorate degree. The focus of my degree is intended to more significantly impact the experience of those of us who choose to remain within the industry and impact the lives of young children and their families.
I am effective in ECE leadership roles because I have done the work of every position at the center-level, grown into leadership, and integrated learnings from corporations outside of the industry that improve the way that we do business. As a multi-unit leader, I learned how to lead and mentor leaders. As a Vice President, I learned how to write effective, practical, and scalable policies; while driving the business to profitability and elevated quality. As a Chief Officer, I learned how to take a macro-approach to leadership, while balancing the personal feel of one-to-one interactions. The vision, mission, and goals are achievable when the people are taken care of, both big and small.
I look forward to getting to know the leader that finds interest in my experiences.
