We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves implementing developmental activities, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere to support each child's growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.
Monitor and document children's progress, behaviors, and milestones to communicate with parents and caregivers effectively.
Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines in accordance with individual needs.
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities and maintain a cohesive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental observations.
Follow all licensing regulations and organizational policies related to childcare standards.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs.
First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, compassion, and professionalism.
Familiarity with early childhood education practices such as preschool activities, infant care, toddler care, caregiving routines, and behavior management techniques.
