Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging curriculum and activities.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes holistic development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Utilize Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and informal assessments.
Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social interactions among students.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
Provide tutoring support for children who may need additional assistance in specific areas of learning.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications

High school diploma
90 hour Preschool certification
ADA certification
9 hour communication
Basic Health and Safety
Experience in preschool settings or daycare environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of curriculum development techniques tailored for preschool-aged children.
Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create an enriching learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
