Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences aligned with our curriculum.
Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Observe and document children’s progress and communicate regularly with families.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to provide the highest quality care and education.
Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and school policies.

Qualifications

CDA OR Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, positive, and professional attitude.
Ability to meet all Maryland licensing requirements, including background checks and required certifications.
