Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Daycare Director to lead our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality care, and foster a positive environment where children thrive. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
Duties
- Manage daily classroom activities and ensure adherence to curriculum standards supporting childhood development and early education best practices
- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques
- Coordinate staffing schedules, recruit qualified personnel, and facilitate ongoing professional development in areas such as first aid, special education, and working with children with disabilities
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and safety protocols, including first aid certification and emergency preparedness procedures
- Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication and updates on their children's progress
- Oversee health and safety policies related to infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and overall daycare operations
- Ensure a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and inclusive practices for children of diverse needs
Experience
- Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree.
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings with demonstrated classroom management skills
- Experience in supervising staff, managing daycare operations, or leading a childcare team as a director or supervisor
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare and early education programs
- Certifications such as first aid, CPR, or special education training are highly desirable
- Background working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork among staff members

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
