Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians on Procare
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Understanding of special education needs in early childhood
Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and connect with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for children
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
