Summary
We are seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for children aged six weeks to 15 months, helping them develop essential skills through play and discovery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide care and support for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage with children in activities that foster curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and experience working with young children.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
