Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a commitment to the well-being of each child, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior in a supportive setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children in care.
- Support children with special needs through tailored activities and behavior management strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including daycare, preschool, infant and toddler care, and special education practices.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while promoting an inclusive atmosphere.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through play-based learning experiences.
- Lead teacher certifications

Pay: $15.00 - $20.03 per hour
