Job Summary

Duties

Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills.
Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities.
Facilitate engaging activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, preschool activities, and Montessori-based learning.
Help supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
Support classroom routines such as setting up materials, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere.

Requirements

Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and behavior management strategies.
Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement.
