Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties

Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and independence among toddlers.
Monitor and support individual behavioral needs using effective behavior management techniques aligned with child welfare standards.
Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, assessments, and standardized testing results to track developmental progress.
Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed; supervise children at all times to promote toddler care and classroom safety.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, special education, and literacy education.

Skills

Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting with a strong understanding of toddler care principles.
Knowledge of early childhood education theories, including Montessori methods and childhood development milestones.
Ability to develop engaging curricula that integrate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and sensory play.
Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment while addressing behavioral challenges effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs.
Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood assessment environments.
Experience in lesson planning tailored for preschool students with diverse learning needs; familiarity with childcare regulations and child welfare standards is preferred. Requirements

- 90 Hour/CDA Preschool Certificate
- At least 2 years working with 2 and 3 year olds

-Experience with lesson planning

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
