Child Care/Preschool located in Silver Spring (New Hampshire Ave) is looking to hire a full-time energetic and creative Preschool Teacher. Candidate must be qualified to work with this age group with the minimum training requirement. NOTE: MUST HAVE TRAINING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

TRAINING RQUIRED: 45 hours Preschool Curriculum and 45 hours Child Development or equivalent college courses in Early Childhood Education.
Minimum one year teaching experience; however, will consider less experience.
Good communication skills: able to communicate effectively with parents and staff; able to follow curriculum, initiate lesson plans and follow through.
Creative and organized lesson planning; classroom management. Expected to do daily reports, etc. .
Computer skills
Will need to take training (if not already) in First Aide, CPR, ADA, Health & Safety, Breast Feeding, and medication training.
