Instructional Coach, ASPIRE PreK Program Family Child Care Alliance of Maryland

We're hiring an instructional coach to support family child care educators delivering publicly funded PreK across Maryland. You'll carry a caseload of 10 to 15 home-based educators. Together you'll co-design goals, make on-site visits, lead reflection sessions, and support strong teaching using Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and CLASS.

This is a field-based role. Your office might be a living room, a backyard with chickens, or a dedicated playroom. You'll need to be equal parts coach, curriculum nerd, data whisperer, and road warrior. (We reimburse mileage.) If you speak a language other than English, we'd love to know: our educators and families represent many languages and communities.

Planning and documentation happen from a home office setup, so you'll need reliable transportation, solid early childhood knowledge, and the ability to juggle coaching visits, data entry, and the occasional Slack thread about snack ideas or AI tools. We're a fully virtual, purpose-driven team that works hard, laughs often, and genuinely believes that home-based educators are a vital part of Maryland's PreK system.
